FACILITIES
Dana Point Harbor ofers a wide variety of venues for many activities. The harbor is the homeport for over 2,200 boats, offering dry storage and in the water berthing. There is a 15 lane boat launch ranp and a non-motorized craft beach launch. the Shipyard has a hoist. There are two yacht clubs and a sailing club. Also located within the harbor is a fuel dock, a bait barge and the Harbor Patrol. The County of Orange County operates the youth and Group facility providing meeting rooms and party facilities as well as sailing and ocean-related programs and the Sea Scout base. The Ocean Institute has completed a major expansion and offers marine exploration and the Brig Pilgrim. Known as the "Baby Beach", the cove section provides a beach with no waves and protected swimming and water play.

Whale Watching - Fishing - Charters
Migration season for the Gray Whale is December through early April. Dana Point Harbor has great Whale Watching Excursion Services to provide you with an exciting and awsome experience.
